There are certainly many vehicles that have not been 100% tested for each of the
available attributes on this website. Understand that some of the attributes have been generalized for certain generations of vehicles depending on what that attribute is. For example if automatic crank was found on a 2012 MDX, it is probably safe to say that at a minimum all years going forward of that generation MDX will have automatic crank. Now it may also be safe to assume that years previous to 2012 but still of the same generation MDX likely have automatic crank too.
Data for older vehicles may be limited since they are harder to come by, but will constantly be added to as time goes on.
So please remember that the data provided here for the most part has been verified to the best of my knowledge but you may find contradictions in the data depending on the product being installed or the method of the install of that product. For that very reason, it is important as an industry for you as installers and sales people to submit any vehicle data that is not already on this website or is possibly wrong for some reason.
Just because a vehicle doesn't have a certain attribute listed doesn't mean the attribute doesn't apply. It could simply mean it has not been verified yet.
There is a pretty comprehensive vehicle data submission form on here that will help collect data as accurately as possible. If you believe there is something missing from the data submission form that is imperative to be collected please use the contact form to inform me of such things.
Since this website gets its database from remotelystartedmn.com, understand that it is also biased in the listing of attributes and how they apply to vehicles based on the products being sold on remotelystartedmn.com. The primary brand of remote starts used to collect this data has been Compustar and iDatalink. Other brands of product may have different abilities, so the attributes may not always apply to your vehicle when using other brands.
Remember this website is to be used as a general guide about aspects of vehicles that are time consuming to find or not listed at all anywhere.
To request a new attribute be added, please use the contact form and try to give an example of the vehicle/s it could apply to and why.

Headlights cannot be left on
The headlights cannot be left on when exiting the vehicle. The headlights only turn off by the switch.
Vehicles This Applies
Headlights off by themselves
On these cars if the customer leaves the headlight switch in the on position upon exiting the vehicle, it is NOT necessary to pulse the door pin after shutdown.
The car will shut off the headlights (not the same as autolights) right at shutdown.
Vehicles This Applies
Headlights time out by themselves
If the headlights are left ON when exiting the vehicle, they will time out by themselves after a short period of time, usually within 3 minutes. (This have nothing to do with autolights)
If you want the headlights to turn off right after shutdown you need to handle that another way, typically with a rearm pulse to a door pin.
